Landlord Invading Privacy And Making Unreasonable Demands

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Colorado
We signed a one year lease in September and moved in to the house and began to notice that our landlord is a do it yourselfer on projects and repairs he obviously knows nothing about. When it started to get cold we found the furnace did not work. I opened the front panel to see if the pilot was on and it was and saw wires all spliced and taped together and decided to call Lennox and see what they knew about it. They informed me that they will not send anyone out to work on it because the furnace is so old it's no longer safe.I informed the landlord of the problem and he told me never to call anyone else about repairs and he would fix it. I was pretty nervous about that after seeing his other repairs but he came over and first said the furnace was not working because there was a screw loose on the thermostat cover. When that didnt work out for him he looked at the furnace and saw the pilot light on and said the gas line to the house is shut off so no gas is getting to the furnace.He said he would come back and fix it later and we decided for our own safety to just use space heaters rather than move everything we owned out of the house before he caused an explosion.Then the constant phone calls and daily agenda of what he wants us to do started.An example is it's nice out today I want you to go out and rake leaves and clear out the flower beds.We would accomodate him when schedules allow but it's not always possible.I work from home and he knew that from day one.I must have a quiet work environment because I am dealing with clients on the phone.One morning I am on a call with a client and suddenly hear this huge noise so loud I can't even hear the person on the phone anymore. I managed to get off the call and run upstairs to find my landlord on the roof with a leaf blower. I explained the work situation again and let him know I could be fired on the spot for something like that. Then it keeps getting worse. He lives across the street so it's easy for him to just walk over and start doing whatever he wants whenever he wants. The other day ,again I was working and he starts aerating the lawn outside my window and we go through the whole thing again. This time he tells me he does not believe in my job because he has never heard of something like that and thinks there is something "shady" going on at our house. He verified my employment when we first moved in. So I printed him a copy of my company policies about noise and time off and he didn't believe that either and requested a contact at my company that he could speak with to verify this information. I gave him that and he did call and verify and then came back and told me that I need to quit and find another job.I explained that is not an option so he wants my detailed daily schedule of my work hours because he wants to be able to do what he wants when he wants.I don't think this is reasonable. I pay the rent without fail every month the house is fine and in good condition and I don't want him in here every day. He asked me to turn on the sprinkler valve in the basement so I did. The next day he confronted guests that were coming to our house and yelled at them that he needed to look at the valve to make sure I had turned it on properly. I'm pretty sure the righty tighty left loosey worked for me because the sprinklers had come on.He has tried to install an air conditioner that doesn't work because it wasn't installed properly and freezes right outside the unit outside so no cold air comes in. He has also put the dryer on the wrong circuit so we have to turn the dryer on at the breaker box. He used the wrong junction boxes and has exposed 220 lines right at my grandsons level and right above the faucett for the hose.I don't know what to do at this point. He is going to get me fired from my job. He has us feeling like we are living under attack at all times. I never know when he's going to call or come over and wake us up to tell us things like leaves in the yard ruin a houses foundation.We hate to even walk outside. I can't sleep. I need some advice.
