Default Collection of a Contract with a Minor
Hello i have a small problem...
First this company (wont name it) is an online buisness and requires you agree to there contract when ordering a service. They allowed my child to agree to there contract (he is under the age of 18 ) without contacting me (parent). Then they charge send collections on us.

Is it leagal for them to allow a minor to agree to there contract WITHOUT parent consent?

Default Minors & Contracts
Normally, when a minor enters into a contract, the contract is deemed "voidable", meaning that the minor can ordinarily void the contract at his discretion, and the parties are restored to their original position. That may require that the minor provide compensation to the other party to the contract, or pay for services or goods received to date. There are contracts a minor can enter into which are binding, typically contracts for the necessities of life.

Is this contract in your name, or your son's name?

Default
It is 100% in his name.
They require you pay before your months service:
for an example it would be like paying for junes cable bill on june 1rst.
The would not let him cancel but its in his name they did this without asking us, we are no way on the contract.
