Default Auto Loan Or Repossession In The State Of Indiana
My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: Indiana
If an older person has only income from VA and Social Security and has a car loan which she can not afford. What can the bank (which has the loan) do if they allow the car to be repoed. I have learned that from Social Security Law that they can not touch this money, but what about the VA monies that are direct deposited. Can they access this money from the bank as a garnishment? Please offer advise about the this person only income and if there is anything else that maybe done.

Thanks, concerned

Once money is deposited into a bank account, there is a possibility that it will be garnished from the account.
