Rights to a Share of Spouse's Business

My husband and I of two years are divorcing. We lived in his house on his land, bought before we were together. However, while living there I contributed to household expenses. When we moved in, because his house was already furnished he basically gave all my furniture away to needy friends from his work. During this time as well, he paid for a temporary patent for a piece of farming equipment he designed 8 years ago. I found and paid for a web designer to create his web page so prospective companies could view his product. Now that the divorce is coming, he says I have absolutely nothing. Could I be entitled to something?
