I Got A Ticket With The Wrong Court Date

My question involves a traffic citation from the state of: Florida


I got a ticket and showed up at the court date only to find out that it was the wrong date! The ticket dated 4/16/08 the woman at the counter said it was on the 4/28/08. I took a unpaid day of work out for this date, is the anything i can do to get the ticket dismissed? The offense was driving a motorcycle w/out a motorcycle endorsment. Wich i did go get in the meantime.

You can take proof of your endorsement with you to your new court date, and hope that the prosecuting authority shows some sympathy.
