Fraud Email - Provided Financial and Personal Info

:cry: I think that all we gave him was a name phone #, address and date of birth. What can they do w/ that info and is there any way that we can prevent anything from happening.
When my husband recieved the email saying to pay $4,500 to obtain any info and he recieved this email in his bulk it bothered me and then I found this website. I feel really stupid that we fell for it.
But what can we do to prevent anything from happening. We are just starting our life up and we have a son and I want to make sure that our family is protected in every way. We don't need anything to make our life harder on us.
