Arrow Worried About Repo In Florida

My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: Florida

I'm 13 days past due on an auto loan by HSBC. I set up an online payment for the past due amount and called them to let them know this.

How late do you have to be to go into default?

How many payments do you have to miss before they repo the car?

What did they say when you called & told them you had set up an on-line payment?

Have you been late before? Have you missed payments before?

usually 2 weeks late is not a big deal, they will tack on late fees, but I will give you a word of advice....DO NOT TRUST HSBC make them give you everything in writing......

I agree. I shouldn't think 13 days late would be a problem - at least you are paying before the next payment is due.

I don't know how long you have been paying on the vehicle but I hope you don't continue to pay late. It just makes it worse for the next month because of the late fee they may charge due to paying late the previous month.
