Default Revocation of Purchase
Bought a product from a well known company, in response to an ad they had posted in the newspaper. I sent the company a letter and a cheque, requesting the company send me the product for the purchase price in the ad. A few days later I found the very same product at a local store, which was $80 cheaper, so I purchased the product there and wrote another letter to the company revoking my offer to purchase the product.
The company received my first letter (which was sent on oct 19) on oct 22, and mailed a letter back to me the same day acknowledging my letter and telling me they would send me the product in a few days. I then sent a second letter revoking the offer on oct 21, (because I found the product else where at a much lower price) which the company received on oct 23.
Is my revokation valid?

What state / province and country is involved? (You say "cheque", which suggests somewhere other than the U.S.)
