We live in Ohio my husband just received a letter of intent to file lawsuit from a one night stand from 15 years ago. The girl was married and had 4 children during that marriage. In 1998 she was divorced and her ex was ordered to pay child support for the 4 children that he and she both swore to under oath were his children. FRom time of birth her ex is the one named on the childs birth certifecate as his father. Now 10 years later she is saying that my husband is the father to her 14 year old son and wants a paternity test. We dont know why after so long she is now doing this but my question is, Can my husband be legally forced to take the DNA test?"

Yes, if it is court ordered.

If the court orders a DNA test and he does not take one the paternity issue will go to default and they will name him as the father without the test. So it is in the best interest to take the test.
