Default Ex/co-signer Trying To Take Car
I am the primary buyer, ex boyfriend is co-signer. I'm late on my payments and he is threatning to sue me, come take the care etc. I tried talking to him and explaining my situation hoping he would make the payments until I got on my feet but it got to the point where I couldn't talk to him anymore. He doesn't know where I live, nor will I tell him and I have not contacted him. I know he hired a P.I. to find me. I just want to know what exactly he can do? What are his rights? I appreciate the help....

Stop trying to talk to him and start making payments. Why should his credit go in the toilet because you aren't paying the bill???

Give him the car. At least if he has to pay for it, he should be able to drive it. If he doesn't want to drive it, then he can sell it and recoup some of the money.

Well I would not give him the car if you don't pay for it because he may not make the payments. Start making the payments or he can take you to small claims.
