Default Compensation For Reduction In Hours
I live in Alabama and was injured in a car accident 8/07 while working. I am still working, but I have had to reduce my hours. Is there any compensation for that? Compensation for time for medical treatment?
I recently requested a temporary demotion until I can get better. Since this is due to WC injury, are they allowed to reduce my pay?

Default Re: Compensation For Reduction In Hours
Did you report the injury to your employer and did they file a workers compensation claim? http://www.legislature.state.al.us/C...75/25-5-78.htm If so you should be eligible for both medical and wage benefits. If your income has been reduced due to medical work restrictions from your doctor you may be entitled to temporay partial disability payments.
