Default Modification Of Benefits
Received letter staint that w/comp wants to go for a reduction in my weekly benefits. I recenly was approved for Social security disability. The insurance co. states the reason for trying to reduce is based on IME repot in which the dr. says that I am able to stand for 2 hours at a time (which I can't) and in his opinion I am able to work part time with no bending, pushing or pulling. This opinion came after a 3 minute "exam". H asked no questions of me and only had me raise my arms...should I now get a lawyer or go to this hearing pro se? I live in MA

I would consult a lawyer. You'll almost certainly be able to get a free consultation.
