Soliciting a prostitute

I need help for a citation for soliciting a prostitute.
I was cited for Penal code 653.22, 647a, 647b.
I am very nervous about what will happen.
I have a court date in a month.
The citing officer said I would be assigned fopp/ johns school if I signed a written statement about what happened.

As to what I think will be happen is:
assignment to fopp (first offenders prostitution program) and charges dismissed by the court.

But will this mean an arrest will remain on my record?
Will record be deleted in one year after I complete FOPP?
Will record still appear after one year when I apply for job where there is a background check?
Was I arrested or just cited? This is key to job questons asking have you every been arrested for a felony or a misdemenor .

Will I need to have the record sealed or expurged- and does this need be done with the services of a criminal lawyer or Can I apply by myself?

please advise since this could just ruin job chances in the future.

You should consult a local criminal defense lawyer about your eligibility for the FOPP program, and what public record would exist following your successful completion of the program.

I believe this is the program you are describing, although the information may be dated.
