    Question Writing A Critique

Hi, i am new to the forum but have looked in for a while... anyways i have been given the task of writing a critique of a piece of acadamic writing.
Obviously i have written essays before which critique certain quotes etc, but i am unsure of how best to set about writing a critique about a whole piece of writing. Could anyone give me few pointers on what to include or certain phrases useful or maybe a template which they themselves have found useful in the past when writing such a critique?

Also, I'm writing from an English Legal System perspective if that has any bearing on the response i might get.

Hopefully a few people can help
    Thanks

Perhaps your teacher can provide you with an example.

This is a legal site, but yours isn't really a legal question.
