Default Paying off charged-off debts
I appoligize if this is a redundant post, however I need advice. I looked through the past posts and didn't find a question quite like mine.

I have currently about $10,000 in various charge off's. 7 different accounts and one vehicle reposession comprising all of my charge off's.

As a example if I owe Robinsons May $500 on a charge off account, but my account has been sold to company B and I pay company B with a agreement to have this REMOVED from my credit are they allowed to complete remove the Robinsons account completely? Or does this fall back on Robinsons? Would I have to pay Robinsons directly?

Also with regards to my reposession. A judgement was passed about 2 years ago on the repo. It has yet to be inforced. Can I contact the legal office of the firm that represents the agency and have them delete this from my report if I pay them?

1 last thing I forgot about. I had Child Support Services on my Credit Report. Even though I paid everything off and the case is no longer in court it shows a 1 120 day delinquency with no other delinquencies. This shows as a (Paid/Closed) account also. How can I have that removed? If it can't be removed how detremental is this?

I do want to emphasize that I DO want to pay these off. I don't want to just dispute, dispute, dispute.

I appoligize for such a LONG first post. Thank you all in advance.

From,

Keith

If the company has an agreement with Robinsons that they can negotiate the removal of the debt, then you can deal with the company. If not, they cannot bind Robinsons to any such agreement.

You can certainly make that proposal.

You probably can't, if the information is accurate.

If I were you I wouldnt pay off the charge offs unless there is absolutely a written contract for a pay for delete. If you pay those without getting the delete you have just re aged your credit report. Which means you now have current paid chargeoffs that could hurt you even worse.
