    Default Underage consumption

I go to BGSU and was walking home from a party with my roommate. A cop saw me trip or something and pushed me to the ground then frisked me and cuffed me. As I was being taken to the county jail I asked the transporting officer what I was being arrested for he would not tell me. This was Sunday at about 1:30 A.M. Not until Monday at 5 in the afternoon when I was getting out of jail I found out I got an underage consumption. First, was it neccessary to put me in jail for 2 nights and secondly how do I present this case in the best possible way.

    Yes, that does seem excessive.

It is impossible to estimate how you would present your case, as we know nothing about the evidence (save for the fact that you tripped). You may benefit from consulting a local criminal defense lawyer.
