Default Charged on domestic violence
I live in Oregon State. On October 19, 2005 @ about 2:00 - 2:30 Me and my girlfriend got into a fight, It started when we were going home after a doctor app. she started to yell at me in the car and in front of her 10 yrs. old son, it took us about 15- 20 min to get home. when we got home I was hungry and went to the kitchen to cook me some sausage, she yelled at me for doing that and she said she was going to cook the salmon, I haven't eat all day. So she left the kitchen and I cook the sausage got the chips and a glass of milk. When back to my bedroom and she ask me what I was going to do I said "I going to eat in my ****ing room, she didn't like that. she got up and knock the bowl out of my hands. We started shaving each other, then she grabbed my glasses off of my face, then I slapped her on the face then she slap me on the face. We yell little bit more and push each other. I was picking up my sausage from the floor while she was laughing at me I squeezed the sausage in my hand then wipe it in her face. I got mad, For some reason I punch her in the back of her head. Then she left. 2 1/2 I got charge with:

Count 1: felony assault in the fourth degree ORS 163.160(3)
Class C Felony
Count 2: assault in the fourth degree ORS 163.160
Class A misdemeanor
Count 3: harassment ORS 166.065(1A)
Class B misdemeanor

I don't have a record but I was charge with things that were dismissed
What will happened to me and
What will I get for these charges?

Default Resolution of Domestic Violence Charges
You are charged with a lot more than a simple domestic violence charge. The result will vary depending upon your ultimate plea bargain or conviction charges, your prior record, and the judge's interpretation of the facts and circumstances of the offense. It would be a very good idea to consult a criminal defense lawyer.
