Unhappy Adverse Possession farm land in Mich.

We have been farming in Michigan for over thirty years. A land owner next to us just had a survey done. The survey shows that approximately 5 acres of the land we have been working is his. It is now for sale. Is this our property by adverse possession?

Only a court can provide title by adverse posession.

Google the term to get an idea about what you are dealing with as the entire burden of proof will be on you.

Possibly but you will have to hire an attorney and go to court. When did you have your property surveyed? Is the 5 acres worth the legal expense of the fight? Is there any type of physical boundary and how long has it been in place?
