Default Opening Mail That Does Not Have Your Name On It?

Today I received a piece of mail that was sent to my house through USPS. This piece of mail did have my address on it but it didn't have my name or even the ex-owners name of the house. Am I allowed to open it or is illegal? Also I tried searching the name and trying to find the person and I could not.

    Thanks,

    Dan

No, you should contact USPS and tell them noboby by that name lives there. Let them handle it.
