Default Summons After ' Notice Of Garnishment"
Hello
2006 _ had court order,, for payments for credit card debt
paid regularly for 1 year
past year,, financial hardships, stopped paying
in default of court order

Jan 30, 2008 got notice from court approval of judge to attach
bank account ex parte in amount x ( amount i owe)

Feb 7 - got settlement letter offer
Mar 5 - summons to respond to complaint against me
within 20 days

this is time sensitive
i have to respond within 2 more days in writing
do not have to appear in court

i have no assets
What do i say in the summons response,,,,,
I am looking for full time work
but have no money
I am willing to arrange payments again

Suggestions what i write in the letter
I do need to respond....

Default Re: Summons After ' Notice Of Garnish"
Ma, you don't tell us what is in the summons, so I suggest you file a general denial which is, "I deny everything in the summons and demand that the court require strict proof."

NOW, if the summons is for you to go to a debtors' exam, then you must go.

Let me emphasize that you haven't given us enough info to answer your question.
