Unemployment Appeal Hearing California

I was terminated timecard adjustments that didn't have necessary paperwork filed. More than 5 others have access to making the changes in question. When I suggested each of the 5 people create their own access codes for making changes to ensure accountability I was handed my final paycheck 2 hours later. Their first request to deny my benefits was denied and now I have a hearing on Tuesday. I couldn't be accountable for a system that lacked accountability. Advice?

Did you make the improper adjustments or not? If so, the question of whether or not there were adequate checks on your misconduct does not change the fact that you were fired for misconduct.
