I am 20, and my girlfriend is 16. The wording of the oklahoma laws on marriage to a minor seem a bit sketchy to me, would my parents consent allow us to obtain a marriage licence? Her parents absoloutly hate me, she is not pregnant, and i really need to know if we can do this without their consent.

How would YOUR parents have the RIGHT to give permission for a CHILD that is not theirs to marry? Use your common sence.

Without the minor child's parents permission there will be no marriage. I would suggest you stay away from their child or you will end up in legal trouble.
