Ok, so my grandfather's will states that in the event of his death, everything be left to my grandmother, unless she precedes him in death which would would give his two children all real and personal property.
My grandfather has died (so obviously she didn't precede him.) SHE has no will, so therefore, will she die intestate? Additionally one of their children (not my mother) has died so if my grandmother does die intestate, the children of the deceased child will receive half of all property according to OCGA, correct? This really puts us in a pickle as she has severe dementia and we have been working with her professional caregivers almost nonstop to provide for her comfort. Those grandchildren haven't lent a single hand and have just begun to circle as her health has begun to worsen. HELP!
Also my mom was granted POA by my grandfather prior to his death if that changes anything.
