Default IRS Debt
I was making monthly payments on an outstanding IRS debt until 1994 when I discontinued paying. Is there a statute of limitations that applies? What is my liability here?

Default Statute of Limitations for Tax Debt
There is a ten year statute of limitations for the collection of past-due income taxes, although there may be exceptions that apply to your case. You should verify the collectibility of your debt with a CPA, tax lawyer, or enrolled agent.
