Sued 3 Times For Same Debt
Hi, everyone. Im in georgia.
Ill be as brief as possible.
Starting in 5/06 I was sued by a JDB for an account that is so old it was no longer on credit report except listed as being owned by the JDB.
This lawsuit was dismissed w/o prej by the Plaintiff.
In 11/06 sued again by a different attorney for the same debt.
Until 8/07 this thing drug on with Inerrog's/removed from the calender calls and finally in 8/07 the Plaintiff dismissed w/o prej.
Just this week served for the 3rd time in a different county (moved) for the same debt by the 2nd attorney/JDB.
I have my answer which is the same one it always has been....out of SOL. How many times can they do this? I know an out of SOL debt can't be sued on at all, let alone 3 times all out of SOL.
However, do I have any counterclaims here? I want this to end, but they never show up to court.
