Default Statue Of Limitations
How far back can a creditor legally collect on a debt or sue you in California?

What type of debt & when was the last action (ie last payment) made on the debt? I was wondering if the SOL might be elapsed. (not that they still can't sue you, but you can use that as your defense)

I found this on another board, it may be of use, though someone else will have to ascertain it's credibility.

Written contracts: 4 years
