New Doctor Says Old Doctor Didn't Perform Said Operation

I got an operation to remove a uterine stem two decembers ago.
My new gyno claims that the old gyno didnt do the surgery that he claims to have done.

We both requested my records and the old gyno wont give them to me or send them to my new gyno. I threatened the old gyno with an attorney and they still wont budge. Im now looking for a good, fierce malpractice attorney in Delaware County, PA/Philadelphia, PA area.

The old gyno is at Lankenau Hospital. The new gyno is now at Crozer Hospital.

Any suggestions?

Your old doc is apparently unfamiliar with HIPAA regulations that require him to give you your records?

You can search for attorneys in your area with Martindale, or call your local Bar Association for recommendations.

A way around the unwilling Dr is to get a hold of the medical records from the Hospital/Surgery Center that you had the surgery performed at, they too should have a copy. The HOSPITAL owns those records and you shouldn't have those kind of problems dealing with them.
