The perverness (sp) was in your daughter not the law! It does not matter if it all happened during same sex session it happened. Her defense (or yours better yet) that he was willing will only piss off jury members who might be parents themself. If her Lawyer is advsing she take the 1 - 2 then she should otherwise she could face nearly two decades. By the way depending on whole story there could be more charges. I know your upset and I understand you want to help your daughter regardless of how we feel about her but she stands very little chance of winning a jury trial. If she risks jury trial and loses she could be looking at 18 year sor more depending on counts and charges.

It's a nightmare. 18 years in prison… And if the boy had penetrated her again after the second fellation, she could have face, if I amn't wrong, 24 years. In prison up to being in her fifties for a sex session… God bless this country !
But I have to be realistic and advice her plea deal.

As much as it hurts the plea offered sounds like her best option. She will likely also have to register as sex offender. 1 - 2 could be less than one maybe few months with good behavior

What she needs to do is to consult a criminal defense lawyer, and heed the advice of her lawyer.

I'll meet her attorney next week. However, a new question. If my daughter accepts a deal and gets prison time, for instance in april, is the incarceration immediate or can she graduate before ? Is it possible to postpone imprisonment ?

She should discuss that with her Attorney a short delay "may" be ok but that will be up the judge. Her Attorney will know how to approach judge. This degree you talk about is it her teaching degree? If so she might as well not waste her time and she will never teach!

Psychologically, she wants to be graduated. How is it possible in "the big house" ?

People can get a college degree in prison. I heard about a guy who got a PH.D while in there.
