Post Questions About A Possible Judgement

State of Virginia, I am in the process of going to court for purchacing a meat package that was totally over the value of the meat.A contract with a finance company was done at the time of sale. The finance company is asking for payment or they have to turn it over to the credit bureau. If I wait till the court date for the ruling will this hurt my report if I have legal documents to show in my favor to the credit bureau? Does the meat packing company have to remburse the finance company?

If you signed the contract, you are responsible for payment, not the meat packing company.

You might wish to inform the finance company that you are suing the meat packing company. This may forestall collection activity. If the judge does not rule in your favor, however, you're still responsible for the terms of your contract.

Did contact the finance company but they still insist a payment which has already been made. Also is there a Virginia law that the company has to disclose the poundage of meat and is there a code # for this?Which is not at all stated anywhere on the bill or contract. Thanks for your help, Suzy
