    Default Enforcing a Divorce Judgment

I was divorced years ago. My Ex was allowed to stay in my house that was mine before the marrage (and I lost half in the divorce) until my son was 18. That was 4 years ago. My ex asked to stay until my son finished getting his GED (he was taking classes at that time). I told her that would be fine as long as she was willing to pay $600 a month for rent. She said she could not afford it. I said she could pay from her half of the sale of the house.

Since then she has been avoiding me. Every time I bring up buying her out or selling the house, screams & yell then will not answer my calls or call me back. She is refusing to let me buy her out or move so I can sell it.

    What can I do?

    Default Enforcing the Judgment

It sounds like you need to bring a motion before the court which issued the divorce judgment, asking for enforcement of that judgment in relation to the house.

    Default Cost

Could I sue for the cost of having to go back to court and paying for attorney fees?

    Default Attorney Fees

You can request attorney fees. It will be up to the court to decide whether an award of fees is warranted.
