Being Sued For Credit Card Debt
I was served with papers via a process server last week for a credit card debt that I havnt been able to pay on for a few years. This debt along with other credit card debt that is in non payment too was acrued durring the early stages of a failed business. The purchases were primarily toward repair and preparation of a sail boat for future charter business. The boat ran aground and went down. All was lost but our lives. Ive been trying to get things back in order for some time now but it has been and still is a difficult road to travle. I have to address the law suit with a letter to all the parties involved but dont know how to approach it. I just make enough $ to live off of , maybe 300-400 more than my bills not including food and ffuel ,and the only thing I own is my car. What is the best way to approach the situation?
