Expunging a Drug Conviction

I Live In Tennessee Got Into A Little Trouble In 1989 A Was Convicited Of A Class C Felony And I Am Trying To Get It Expunged From My Record, I Have Not Been In Trouble Prior Or Prevous To This, And I Would Like To Know How To Do This And What Legal Steps Can I Take To Get This Done? I Only Served 26 Days In Jail 3 Years Probation And 200 Hours Public Service Work. So Is There Any Hope? Are Am I Just Wasting My Time?

Tennessee does not appear to have any law which would permit the expungement of adult criminal offenses, except within the context of pre-trial or post-verdict diversion or deferred sentencing.
