Default Can I Sue My Institute Over Class Attendance Policies

    Hey,

I've been enrolled in the CA program of my Institute. My exas are in March and the criteria says that i must have 80% attendance to sit in exams.
I have around 50% attendance. I gave the an application asking them to allow me to sit in exams but they are not listening .

This will waste my time, money and energy too as i shall need to get enrolled again , pay fee and study this whole year once again.

Can i sue my Institute for all this/

Sue for what? Not allowing you to sit for exams when your attendance does not meet the 80% required??

Sure, you can always file a suit. You'll then be out court costs and perhaps fines for bringing a frivolous suit, but you can file suit. Don't worry about lawyers fees, no one will take your case.

    Ok..

there are few facts that i did not mention there.

    1) Accoring to me my attendance should be somewhere in 80's. THere is some mistake by the management. Teachers an Students are with me that i was present in many classes.

    2) Another student had the same case that Aministration wrongly counted the attendance and when a teacher spoke in his favour that he was present in around 80% classes they cleared him for exam and when i said that ill make them talk to the teacher they were like.. WE ARENT DOING FAVOURS TO EVERYONE.

    3) Can't MANAGEMENT make mistakes? They recently did as there was a Mid Term Test in which i was absent. I even gave my medical certificate and an application saying that ill not be able to give exams and when the result came in my Report Card i got marks for the exams that i never attempted.
I told administration that when they can make such a big mistake in making Result Sheet cant they make mistake in counting attendance and that they should reconcile it but, they started saying that i have no right to blame the administration and that they know how to do their job and they are doing it and that they r never wrong.

Does this make case stronger for me? Im sure teachers and students would speak for me that i attended aroun 80% classes and there is some mistake in their attendance register.

You may want to broaden the scope of your suit to include the shortcomings of your "education". Given the examples of your grammar, punctuation and context, they "failed" you rather miserably!

It's hard to believe that they have erred close to 30% in recording your attendance.

How can teachers and students recall that you were there 80% of the time?
