Default Protect Settlement From Future Divorce
I live in California ( comunity property state) and need to know how to protect my settlement for my back injury in the event of a divorce. From my understanding I need to keep from comingling funds and need a seperate account without any link to my spouse. Please inform me on what needs to be done to protect my insurance for my injury. Thank you in advance for the assistance, it's greatly appreciated.

Default Re: Protect Settlement From Future Divorce
Consult a lawyer about having a postnuptial agreement executed, which can be reviewed by your spouse's independent lawyer, then executed by both of you.
