Mental Health Records Access

I just found out that my husband (now ex) got a judge to consent to the release of MY mental health records as part of a criminal case against him, without my knowledge or consent. I don't know what they were used for -- and the only reason I was in mental health was because of him and his abuse of me and my son (the basis of the charges). This occurred in PA in 2000; was this it legal to release those records to him/his attorney?

If you had no notice or opportunity to object, I doubt that this was properly handled. Unfortunately, we don't have any way of determining what happened. Have you looked in the court file to try to figure it out?

No, I haven't gotten to the court records yet. I just found this out when I learned I could access the court dockets and it appeared there as a motion which was granted by the Judge.
Are the court records kept in the Clerk of Courts office or the Prothonotary's office? Do I just need the case number to request the file?
