    Default Clearing My House Title

    In 1992 I mortgaged my home with a company called Accubank in Lake County Illinois, two years later they were sold to Nationwide. Currently my homes title has a lien by Accubank with a 0 balance. How do I clear them from my title?
    I already did the letter writing thing with no response.

    You can file a quiet title action. Usually this requires an attorney in order to be done properly.

    Usually these things can take up to a year and are around $10K in my area.
