When I had my child, my boyfriend at the time signed the acknowledgement of paternity. A year later a DNA test proved that he was not the biological father. We are no longer together and since then another man was tested and this second DNA test concluded that this other man was the biological father. Ok so heres my question..... How do i get my ex boyfriends name removed from the birth certificate? he has never had a relationship with my child and has never paid child support. The biological father wants to have his name on the birth certificate and has established a relationship with my child.How can i start this process? (I live in NYC)

He is Daddy . Forever. There is only a certain time frame to disestablish paternity and that has long past.

The bio-dad can try but I doubt he has standing to pursue this.

I spoke to my ex boyfriend and now he's decided to try and get visitation rights even though he has never cared to before. I really dont understand why all these years he never wanted to see her and now all a sudden he decides he doesnt want me to try and remove his name and wants to see her. Im just so frustrated. there must be something i can do...he would be a VERY bad influence in her life being that he is a drug addict.
My daughter has already met her biological father and I just dont see where my exboyfriend would fit in any of this. MY daughter will be VERY confused. there must be something i can do.....
