Or is Jay Leno funnier without his writers? I use to take a sleeping pill at 11:20 p.m. and hope to be asleep by the time my husband turned on the Tonight Show. Now I'm skipping the sleeping pill and watching and laughing.

I never thought Leno was funny, still don't. Well, aside from his looks anyway. Another thing.. where did he come from? I mean, the most coveted position on TV and he just comes from nowhere and gets it. What was his past?

John Carson picked him personally to replace him on The Tonight Show. Other than that I only know of him from Dorito commercials.
