I rent my home in FL and the owner may be foreclosed upon, I am active duty military, what are my rights if the home is foreclosed?
Unfortunately, none.
The foreclosing bank has no duty to you, and will, upon sale of the home, likely present you with a notice to stop paying rent and a 30 day notice to vacate. If you don't leave, they will file an order to evict.
I have seen it suggested that tenants in this pickle move, then sue their former landlord for the cost of the move.

I am in the same position as above and was served a notice tonight as Defendant "John Doe" the unknown tenant. Do I need to file an answer with the court? Once the foreclosure is complete and the home has new owners, will I get the luxury of a formal eviction process where I have time after the foreclosure to find a new residence? Also, what is the likelihood of recouping any moving costs by suing someone going through foreclosure?
