Default Credit Card Fraud Help
One of my co-workers was caught in the act of credit card fraud. This happened in the state of New Jersey. Basically he was getting stolen credit card numbers from a source that seemed to be working inside the credit card company (I am unsure of that). But anyhow, they were caught when they went to the safe house to pick up the merchandise. That is all I know about the situation.

What are the legal consequences that he will face, oh and will the fact that he is not 18 years old yet change anything. What kind of charges will he be facing and what can a good lawyer do?

Thanks

Default Re: Credit Card Fraud Help
Credit card fraud is a Federal crime that carries a penalty of up to $10K in fines and 10 years in prison.

Your friend needs an attorney. We cannot predict what the attorney can do for him, that's going to depend on his individual situation.
