Default Paternity Proves I Am The Father. How Do I Fix The Birth Certificate?
When my son was born he was thought to be fathered by another man. This guys name is on the birth certificate. A paternity test was taken by the guy. He was not the father. Shortly after I took one and found that I am the father. We live in California. Basically I need to change the name on the birth certificate and social security. How do I fix this situation and, do I have to involve the other guy? He is out of the equation and I would like to keep it that way.

What state are you in and how old is the child?
