Default How Can I Get My Record Sealed in Michigan

It is my understanding that a person is permanently ineligble for expungement In Michigan if the said person has ANY kind of convictions after the felony that is in question.
In my situation, I was convicted of "Assault with attempt to commit armed robbery" when I was 18 years old in 1999.
I have also been convicted of Domestic Assault in 2002 which is a misdeameanor that also makes one ineligible permenantly, thanks to Mr. Clinton.

In a state where simply telling your wife or friend too "F off" is considered Domestic Assault. And getting into a confrontation with someone who stole your property is considered Armed Robbery. It would suffice to say that certain exceptions and provisions should be set in place to allow people to expunge there records after X amount of years. Those days however, are long gone and people nowadays are permanently labled felons thus forcing them to be "Second Class Citizens" and disqulifying them from just about any W2'ed position, prohibited from voting, and many other Civil rights that are taken for granted by most "non offenders"

My question is this.. With a record such as mine, I know that it will be impossible for me to have any kind of say in a court system without the bribe money needed for something of this magnitude. So, Is their any other options someone like myself would have such as getting convictions changed to lesser charges or possibly sealing off my record thus allowing me to have ALL my rights restored? Perhaps I could say, do a combination of sealing records and/or reducing a conviction along twith an expungement? etc etc.. What other options does one have in Michigan who's passed mistakes have labeled him a menace to society and thus making me a second class citizen? I cannot function properly in a society that does not allow me to work even menial jobs such as McDonalds due to these crimes. I cannot and should not be judged by two regrettable days of my life with no regard given to the other 9,853 days i've lived on this earth.

There used to be a day where serving your time was payment enough to society, nowadays we are marked like the jews of nazi germany. thus never being restored back to the citizens we deservedly should be due to our "serving our time".
