I live in Phila Pa I was i was not served the papers togo to court the lady from downstairs accepted them for me to appear in court the law firm was Warlpff and abransom Iwent to court and I thought I was going before a judge a woman took me in the hallway and said is this your name and address and I said who are you and she continued to ask me questions and I kept asking who she was she said after I answer her questions she said sh tell me when she asked me for my social security number I said not available she got so mad and I asked her for documentation she told me to go back in the room I asked her if I could go before a judge th next thing I knew it was postponed for 90 days I have to go backto ciurt now what happens here I am on ssd if I loose can they put a judgement against my check thank you

Depends on the type of debt this is on. If it is a tax debt, or student loan, overpayment of government benefits, etc then they possibly could, however, if this is just an unsecured debt then no, they cannot garnish your Social Security Benefits. They could however attach a judgment to any real or personal property that you own (house, car).
