Default Aggravated assualt in Arizona
recently I have been indicted on a f2 agg assault and an f6 agg assault. I was very suicidal and called the police over telling them I had a gun and wanted to kill myself. I had a pellet gun and my intentions were to make them shoot me. I told them I would come out shooting to instagate their return fire at me. I eventually threw the gun over the balcony and a single gunshot went off after my hads were free. This got me running back inside even more hostile and I told them I had more guns and they would now have to enter and kill me. They claim I acted threatening with the gun and also threw a steak knife at them. My recall is different plus if I had made threatening movements with a gun or knife I believe they woule have shot me. I was in a pretty bad mental state and have already been impatient plus I was intoxicated during the event. I want to know if I, according to the law did committ these crimes enough that I am going to be punished? Should I get the attorneys needed? Any information that could help me would be great. This happened in scottsdale. Thanks very much.

Default Mental Competency
You should have your lawyer petition to have you examined by a mental health professional in relation to your criminal responsibility at the time of the incident.

Default response
I sat in jail for 5 days, then went immediatly to impatient treatment and therapy for a week and now am in outpatient therapy. I am manic depressive, but have know that for awhile. Givin the circumstances I think the F2 is for putting police in a feeling of endangment and putting the F6 is for putting bistanders of neighbors in an endangered state. This is my guess. I just had a not guilty hearing yesterday so I dont know much yet, They wont tell you anything. A friend of our family is the chief public defender and is gonna help, but I dont know if I should hire a big attorney yet. I had to pay 9 grand to get out of jail and am running out of money. In what I have read it seems there has to be some intent to do harm to others. Is that correct? This sucks! I worry more and more. Thanks for all advice. Rob
