Default Suspension Of Learners Permit in Florida, and Additional Tickets in New Jersey

In 2000 I was issued a Learners Permit. I was younger and irresponsible. Accumulated i believe 12 points. I was scared to face the consequences and didn't deal with the trafficking system how i should've. I moved to Jersey and managed to get 2 tickets in Jersey while having a supspended learners permit in FL. 1st ticket for no DL possession and the 2nd ticket for careless driving. I was really trying to avoid getting into trouble but by 2004 i had a daughter and it was very difficult for me to be on foot. I really learned my lesson. I wish to fix this problem. All my fines in FL have been paid since Feb of 2004 and my NJ fines have been paid since Sep of 2007. I think all i need to pay NJ is a restoration fee as well as FL. I don't owe them any more money. What do I do from this point on? Pay the restoration fee and then what? I really wish to obtain a DL in Ohio because thats where Im moving to.

Do you currently have a NJ license? If so you need to contact the NJ DMV to see what you need to do to have it reinstated. If you can get your NJ license reinstated, FL should not enter into the picture.

No, I never had a NJ License. My Florida Permit expired on my bday in 07. So thats not good either. But like I said, I did pay FL all their fines and NJ as well. Would I have to pay FL a reinstatement fee or do I just pay NJ a reinstatement fee and then try to obtain a license in Ohio? As far as I know I don't owe FL or NJ any more monies unless a reinstatement fee is obligatory. Your help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
