Default Embezzlement Charges In Major Retail Branch
Ok so I work for a major retail store in Primm, Nevada that has branches all over the USA. My manager has been letting me and encouraging me to take clothing since about 2 weeks after I was working there. He and another employee recently got caught by some guys from corporate and snitched me out.

This was during work when the guys from corporate came in and started questioning them in the back room of the store. After they questioned them for a couple hours they came and grabbed me and started questioning me. I told them what I did and what I've taken and that I had already returned most of the clothing I had taken. They also asked me about two of my manager's acquaintances that had come in and the manager let them take whatever they wanted. They asked if I could get that merchandise back for them. I told them that I might me able to. Anyways the manager and the other employee were taken into custody and had to sign all the paperwork and such. They let me go and I returned all the stuff back to them.

The police never got involved with me. It seems like the guys from corporate aren't even interested in me.

I retrieved the merchandise from my manager's two acquaintances returned them to the company. The guy from corporate said he would call me back to let me know whats going on and he never did.

I was wondering what course of action I should take. They only wrote me down and taking about $89 worth of merchandise. They haven't tried to contact me or anything. I contacted the guy from corporate once and he just told me my chances of going to jail were slim.

I was just wondering what I should do and what type of charges I may be facing.

You could end up facing a variety of larceny-type charges; that's up to the police and prosecutor to decide. Have they indicated that they are going to prosecute?

No they have not even called me back. I heard that they were going to try me with burglary, grand larceny, and embezzlement.
