What part of the transaction is "check fraud"? Your "stored information" attempted to draw funds from a closed bank account, or was rejected as NSF?

They can try to have you charged with online check fraud, but I doubt that it's worth their effort for $1,000.00, and it is illegal for them to operate an online gambling site in the United States.

I'm no lawyer so this is surely not legal advise but I have a friend who has a gambling problem who had an issue like this.

He some how lost a few thousand dollars and his account wasn't valid so they couldn't collect. They threatened legal action to which is basically told them to piss off because there service was illegal here in the states anyway.

They never filed any charges and he never heard from them again.
