Firearm Possession After Expungement

Ok I plead No Contest to an 1st degree assualt charge when I was 16 (im now 21) and sentenced to 1 year reporting probation in Macomb County. Since then ive had nothing on my record except a failure to yield ticket a year and a half ago. Im looking to get it expunged (or set aside) to have my civil rights restored so I can carry a firearm for hunting ect. I also would someday like to get a CCW. Will my charge come up if its expunged to deny my CCW? and are my chances good with a good lawyer to get it expunged/ set aside in Macomb County?

This was a juvenile court matter, or adult court?

A juvenile court disposition should not affect your eligibility for expungement.

Am i eligible for expungement now? I guess thats the true question, being it has been 5 years since my sentencing. I heard Macomb County has a goofy rule about expungement even if its a Juvenile sentence.
