Unhappy Hit By "Impaired" Driver While In A Rental Car

    Orange County, California
The guy was about 18, driving his girlfriend's car, he was arrested for DUI.
I was in a rental car that was totaled. At that time unemployed. Unable to work steady since.
    Any use going after him?

It's worth exploring to see if he has his own insurance policy, or coverage through his girlfriend's policy (or any other available coverage), and what the policy limits are. If you retain a lawyer, although you'll end up paying the lawyer a percentage of the recovery, the lawyer should do that for you.
