if we give our son my ex fiancees last name and name him as the father do they still have to do a dna paternity test or is that admiting parentage?

If you and the father complete an affidavit acknowledging his paternity and he is named on the birth certificate, it is not necessary to also bring a paternity action to have him declared the child's father.
